Your destiny with Africa begins today as you board your transatlantic flight headed for the “exotic continent.” Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-503 departs Washington at 10:05AM for Addis Ababa. NOTE: Check-In begins 5 hours before departure and closes 2 hours before take off. Because of the emergency security measures instituted lately, all International Check-in requires you to arrive at least 3 hours before flight departure to ensure enough time for your personal check-in, luggage processing, immigration and security clearances. You are allowed to check-in 2 pieces of luggage free, each weighing 50lbs or less, and 1 carry-on weighing 12Ibs or less. Please remember your passports, and any visas required.

We provide free visa service, however visa fees charged by Kenyan Embassy must accompany visa applications plus 4 recent passport photos and a valid passport. The journey would take us on a scenic route along the floor of the Great Rift, passing Narok Climb and the Western Wall into Serengeti Plains (Heminghway’s Country). Arrive late afternoon in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. We shall drive through the game reserve to view the animals enroute to our Hotel. Arrive and check into our hotel. Dinner. Overnight. Accommodation: Mara Hippo Safari lodge or similar Meals: Breakfast/Dinner.

Breakfast. Early morning departure for a full day game drive. This game park boasts of the most exotic animals in the world including Rhinos, Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Zebras, Buffalo, etc. Return to the hotel early evening. Dinner.

A VISIT TO OBAMA’S VILLAGE: Breakfast and depart for a day trip to the village of Kogelo; the birth place President Barack Obama’s father. Arrive and visit with the natives and also view senior Obama’s grave and also the monument in honor of the President Obama. Return to the Lodge at Masai Mara. Accommodation: Mara Hippo Safari Lodge or similar Meals: Breakfast/Dinner.

Breakfast at leisure. Depart late morning for Nairobi city tour. Nairobi is the both administrative and financial capital of Kenya. The tour includes a pleasant walk through the “city in the sun” with local guides. Visit the magnificent Parliament Buildings, the Kenyatta International Conference Center and the colorful Nairobi City Market for shopping. After lunch (not included) we continue our tour with a visit s to the Kenya National Archives & Watatu art gallery.

We conclude our tour with a visit to the National Museum, well known for its spell binding exhibits and displays of early man, tribal regalia and the flora and fauna of Kenya and thereafter, visit the botanical garden. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight. Accommodation: Nairobi Hilton or similar Meals: Breakfast/Dinner.

Breakfast at leisure. Rest of the day is rest and relaxation. Pack your bags, do last minute shopping or just relax around the pool. Transfer to the airport at 3:00PM. Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-800 departs Nairobi at 6:15PM. Arrive in Addis Ababa at 8:15PM. Connect to flight ET-500 departing Addis Ababa at 10:15PM.
